EU Ecolabel

Description

EU Ecolabel is a voluntary environmental labelling system. The rules are laid down by "Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009 on the EU Ecolabel". EUEcolabelawards products and services which have a lower environmental impact than other products in the same group, enabling consumers to recognise eco-friendly products(not including food and medicine). Objective of the system is to label products which meet European environmental an ethical objective, such as the impact on climate change, nature and biodiversity, energy and resource consumption, generation of waste, reducing animal testing, compliance with ethical and social standards etc.
