Description
In the Third Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe (Lisbon, June 1998) the "Resolution L1-Socio-Economic Aspects of Sustainable Forest Management" emphasised " the renewable and environmentally friendly nature of wood and non-woodforest products from forests under sustainable management, and that development of proper assessment and valuation methods are needed for the non-marketed forest goods and services".
