Description
The Action Plan's vision is to address the forest sector in all the UNECE region. The objectives, which are consistent with the pan-European set of criteria and indicators, consist of five pillars. The first is "Sustainable production and consumption of forest products", which include the willingness to promote strategies for sustainable production, consumption and trade of forest products including non-wood products" and "Innovation in forest management and in the production and use of forest products" .
