The "Policy and strategy for forest sector development in Romania (2001-2010) aims at developing the sector for the improvement of the standard living quality based on sustainable forest management. The overall objective for the forestry sector is the development of the forestry sector to increase its contribution to the improvement in the quality of life, based on the sustainable management of the forest resource.
