The Micosylva project aims to answer two needs. On the one hand, it seems that the management plans of forests do not consider to fungi, despite their importance in the nutrition of the trees, their growth and against pathogenic soil protection. Furthermore, it was found that most forest managers do not consider the fact that the production of mushrooms in a forest depend, for example, certain conditions of reforestation. // Micosylva seeks to highlight and take management criteria suitable to address these situations.

Create an international network of researchers, scientists and technicians, then advise the managers of the mountains. 2. Create a network of micosilva pilot plots. Develop a technical manual providing the criteria to successfully integrate the management of forests and wild edible mushrooms 4.
